Saudi Arabia, Canada, Kuwait and Taiwan are still the main sources of import of ethylene glycol, accounting for 75%-80% of total domestic imports.

The impact of Sino US trade friction began in August last year. The import of ethylene glycol from the United States increased by 25% to 30.5%. The import of ethylene glycol in the United States was greatly reduced. On the contrary, the volume of imports from Canada steadily increased.

On the whole, the total import of ethylene glycol in 1-4 months of 2019 kept a steady increase. The total import volume of 3 million 546 thousand and 700 tons in 1-4 months and 4.73% in the annulus.
