Humanity Assumption In Management
Management is a study of human beings. To some extent, human nature determines the change of management mode.
So what is right and wrong is good sex or evil? This problem has aroused great interest among scholars in management field.
Almost everyone in China knows this sentence: "at the beginning of human nature, nature is good". In fact, the question of humanity is good and evil. Whether in China or in foreign countries, in modern times or in ancient times, it is a controversial topic.

The complex people assume that people are complex animals, and that each person needs are different. What we need is to analyze everyone's work motivation so as to achieve maximum efficiency.
The self actualization hypothesis assumes that the highest level of human beings is the pursuit of a self actualization and the pursuit of the greatest satisfaction. When a need is met, new needs are created. Human beings are a kind of animal that constantly realizes themselves. People need to develop their potential and discover their own talents and realize their ideals. Only when the potential of human beings is fully realized, can people feel the greatest satisfaction.
For the assumption of human nature, the management circles also have the elaboration of X theory and Y theory.
If we integrate Chinese and foreign theories, simply put forward, X theory advocates that the evil nature of human nature is a matter oriented thinking. It is believed that human beings are passive. Human beings naturally do not like work. They must be coercion, controlled, guided and punished for threats, so that they will work hard and achieve work performance, otherwise they will want to evade their responsibilities.
Y theory advocates that human nature is good, human oriented thinking, that people are active, and that human beings are naturally fond of work. As long as they give higher level of achievement, self-esteem and self actualization encouragement, they will exert great intelligence and creativity to solve problems and fulfill their responsibilities.
Is it a matter oriented management style with better leadership style or a man oriented management system?
So far, it is still a hot topic in management circles.
Basically, these two kinds of leadership styles are too extreme and biased. If we can integrate and apply the tasks, we will have better management results.
In the management quality, the management of things is only a part of the work goal; if we want to operate smoothly, more often, talent is the key to management.
All work must be done through people.
When people feel wrong, think wrong and do wrong, no simple things can be carried out smoothly.
After understanding the key to the management of human and matter dependence, we should timely apply the leadership traits of people and events, understand individual differences in subordinates' behaviors, motivate employees' achievement motivation, and make leadership easier to handle. Naturally, we can develop positive interaction between people and things.
Therefore, when you are in charge, the first thing you need to know is to manage people first and then do things.
The assumption of human nature helps us understand human nature and decide the way and style of management.
But these assumptions only provide us with a way of thinking instead of being absolutely right. We should learn how to view life and look at things objectively and completely in life.
