Inspection And Quarantine Remind: Japanese Cloth Repeatedly Trap "Safety Door" Import Enterprises Need To Be Careful.
In March this year, the Kunshan inspection and Quarantine Bureau detected 5 batches of imported cotton cloth unqualified, 4 of which were imported from Japan and 80% of the unqualified batches. It is understood that the 4 batch of Japanese cloth failed, due to excessive safety indicators. Japanese cloth has repeatedly been trapped in the "safety door".
The 4 batches of unqualified Japanese cloth are 13637 meters, and the value is more than 5.6 million dollars. After examination, the reasons for the failure were all due to formaldehyde content, color fastness and pH value which did not meet the national mandatory standard (GB18401-2003 "national textile basic safety technical specification"), and the safety index was seriously exceeded. In this regard, the Kunshan inspection and Quarantine Bureau issued a certificate of inspection to return the imported textiles.
The Kunshan inspection and Quarantine Bureau reminded all relevant importers that the imported products must conform to the relevant standards of China and be written into the trade contracts to protect the interests of the importing enterprises.
