Anhui's annual consumption of textile and clothing exceeds 35 billion yuan.

In 2007, Anhui's textile and garment industry fixed assets investment exceeded 4 billion yuan, an increase of 90% over the same period last year.
"Relying on the four advantages of abundant human resources, convenient location advantages, perfect infrastructure and preferential land prices, a group of textile and garment enterprises from Hongkong and Anhui, including the United Kingdom, Huarun textile, Tai Zi Long and nine Mu Wang, have set up production and R & D bases. Ye Liang, Secretary General of the Anhui clothing trade association, said that only in Hefei, for example, there were 69 garment enterprises in 2007, with an investment of 1 billion 621 million yuan and a US dollar of 98 million yuan.
