Brief Introduction Of Australia'S Beautiful Wool Logo Award

The Australian Merino wool logo award is sponsored by Australian Wool Innovation Limited. It aims to nurture and support young fashion designers. The awards are mainly targeted at designers who have over two quarters of professional experience.

The Merino wool prize will be unveiled at the opening ceremony of an exhibition.

The exhibition will not only show the entries of the finalists, but will also show the various logo of the international wool Bureau in the past 45 years.

In 1954, two fledgling women designers Karl Lagerfeld and Yves Saint Laurent received the fashion design awards issued by the international wool Bureau.

The Australian Wool Innovation Limited will appoint a panel of professional experts from international fashion experts to determine the annual attribution of the Merino wool logo award.

The award will be regarded as the classic continuation of the award of the international wool Bureau award. It will award the excellent design of merino wool yarn or wool blended yarn (wool content of not less than 50%) as the fabric, and establish the leading position of Australian wool industry in the global apparel industry, thereby stimulating the demand of merino wool.
