On the afternoon of November 8th, organized by the China Textile Information Center, the national textile product development center and the Wujiang Municipal People's government, and the Shengze Town People's government and the China Eastern Silk Market Management Committee, the "China fashion fabric sourcing base licensing and China textile fabric fashion trend" activities were held in the conference room of the China Eastern Silk Market Management Committee.

Sun Ruizhe, vice president of the China Textile Industry Association, said that under the background of the current international financial crisis affecting the global economy, the launching ceremony of the Chinese fashion fabric procurement base and the launching of China's textile fabric fashion trend is of special significance. It shows the determination of Shengze textile enterprises to overcome the crisis and confidence in the development of the industry. At the same time, it also shows that the Shengze textile industry base is responding to the financial crisis with a more positive strategy.

After 30 years of reform and opening up, China's textile industry has now become the world's largest textile industry base.

If the past development of China's textile industry is based on the comparative advantage of the labor force factor, it is necessary to pform and improve the ability to integrate technology, capital, resources and market.

The competitiveness of Shengze's textile industry lies not only in its size and industrial support, but also in the fact that the more difficult the government and enterprises in Shengze are, the closer they will be to unite together and concentrate all aspects of their efforts to solve the difficult problems they face.

In recent years, Shengze has been making innovations in its efforts to introduce new technologies, develop new products, develop industry standards, cultivate famous brands, continuously upgrade the overall level of the textile industry and the right to speak in the industry, and have achieved remarkable results.

In the past 3 years, 169 fabrics of 109 enterprises have been selected for China's popular fabrics. They are leading in China. They are awarded the "product development award" by the China Textile Industry Association, and become the first "textile textile fashion trend publishing base" in the national textile industry cluster.

Shengze has also worked with authoritative departments to compile textile price index and chemical fiber fabric coding standard, and has achieved success.

In November last year, the "China Shengze silk chemical fiber index" was officially released to the world by the Ministry of Commerce. It became the first textile index in China. This year, the "chemical fiber fabric coding standard" compiled by the Oriental silk market was officially listed in the national standard series, and became the unified standard of the national chemical fiber fabric.

The development and operation of these projects highlight the core position of Shengze's ancient silk in the national textile industry, and enhance Shengze's right to speak in the textile industry.

In the face of the current severe economic situation, Shengze once again works with the China Textile Industry Association, the China Textile Information Center and the national textile product development center to jointly carry out a series of work of "Textile Innovation Service Center", and guide Shengze textile enterprises to shift the development focus from quantity expansion to quality improvement, enhance their ability of independent innovation, promote market pformation and upgrading, create a market environment that meets the needs of modern trade level, and build "China's popular fabric sourcing base", and strive to become a model area and promotion platform for China's textile industry through 3 years.

The leaders of the China Textile Industry Association issued the bronze medal of "China popular fabric procurement base" and "China fashion fabric - trend publishing base (2009~2010)" to the China Eastern Silk Market, and issued certificates for the "2009/10 autumn and winter China popular fabrics" in Wujiang.

The China Eastern Silk Market Association also signed an agreement with the China Textile Information Center on the joint licensing and licensing inspection of "China's popular fabrics" and "Shengze weaving" collective trademarks.
