Africa'S Largest Exporter Of Cotton And Cotton
Bbu Gio Nafa Alfonso was renamed as Bbu Gio Nafa Alfonso (Burkina Faso) after the revolution of August 1983. It was a French colony before the Second World War, and was independent of the independence of the Republic of China in June 1960. It established an independent government and elected president from Upper Volta.
The population of the country is more than 1400, which is a large country in West Africa. Cotton is the most important economic crop in the state of cloth and the most important foreign exchange earning industry in the country. The about 300000 farms in the country have 3 million cotton farmers, but cotton farming is small farmers, and the farming area ranges from 1.4 hectares to 16.7 hectares.
Most of the farming is carried out by rainwater and some canal irrigation. The rainy season is from June to mid September. During the French colonial period, there were some cotton plants in the country. Until 1969~1970, cotton was grown in a relatively large area, when cotton production was 36000 tons.
In 1978~1979, the output increased by more than two times, about 77000 tons, and in 1979, the national textile company, or SOFITEX, was set up for the purpose of establishing a cotton mill (a total of 18 countries). It searched for more than 90% cotton growers in the whole country, engaged in cotton ginning and reinvested in cottonseed oil plants, and invested in the only cotton mill in the country. It only used air spinning (OE Yarn) and produced about 5400 tons of yarn per year, most of which were supplied with household textile and carpet cotton on the living room floor.
Under the active promotion of the cloth government, the cotton planting area in the country has exceeded 700 thousand hectares, and the output per hectare is 805~1100 kg. By 2006, more than 710 thousand tons of cotton had been converted to about 326 million bales of international cotton bags. Therefore, it has become the largest exporters of cotton and cotton in Africa.
