Textile Knowledge: How To Identify Artificial Cotton Cloth And Cotton Cloth
The appearance of artificial cotton cloth is very similar to cotton cloth. The distinguishing methods are mainly from the following points:
1.光潔度:人造棉布,布面平整,紗疵極少,無雜質(zhì),細潔平滑;而棉布表面可見到棉殼,雜質(zhì)等,光潔度不如人造棉布.
2.紗支均勻度:人造棉布的紗支條干均勻,紗疵很少;而純棉布紗支條干不如人造棉均勻,尤以中粗布更為明顯.
3.手感:人造棉布無論厚薄織物,手感大多較柔軟,而棉布略有粗硬之感.
4.色澤:人造棉布的光澤與顏色均佳,與棉布相比,人造棉布更為鮮艷美觀.
5.折皺性:人造棉布容易折皺.當用手攥一把布,散開,則出現(xiàn)很多折皺,也不易及時復(fù)原.棉布雖有折皺,但比人造棉輕微.
6.懸垂性:人造棉懸垂性較好,棉布懸垂性不如人造棉布.
7.強力:人造棉布的強力較低,不如棉布.特別是在潮濕環(huán)境中,人造棉牢度較差.當從布邊抽絲比較,拉伸,人造棉較棉絲易斷.因此,人造棉質(zhì)地大多較厚,無純棉麻紗那樣輕薄.
