This year's 57 year old Hu Jianye is a cotton growing master in Zeng Jiaying village, Yongji, Yuncheng. He planted 90 mu of cotton this year. He thought that the quality of the cotton would be good enough to sell a good price this year. Hu Jianye said that every cottage farmer in his village could see the houses in front of the house and outside the house, as long as there were empty areas filled with cotton.
Why can't such a good cotton sell? This year, the purchase price of cotton is basically up to 1.8 yuan, and this year it costs 430 yuan for land, 50 yuan for fertilizer, 40 yuan for plastic, 200 yuan for pesticide, 100 yuan for chemical fertilizer, and 200 yuan for the cost of picking flowers. It costs more than 1000 yuan for the cost of the flowers. According to the price of 400 kg of cotton and purchase price of 1.8 yuan per mu, the income per mu is about RMB 800 yuan, which means that the loss of cotton farmers per mu is close to 1.8 yuan, and now the buyer is worried that the price of the purchase will also decline, that is, the price of the Yuan Yuan is very few, so the cotton farmers have to store the cotton at home. In addition to watching thousands of cotton piled up in the home that can't be sold and worry, as the weather turns cold, many villagers start cooking at home, so security risks are also a common concern.
It is understood that Yongji is a large cotton producing city in Yuncheng and even Shanxi. The area of seed cotton is about 500000 mu, which accounts for 1/3 of the cotton production area in Yuncheng. But like Hu Jianye, nearly 80% of the cotton farmers in Yongji are still at home this year, facing the embarrassing situation of the dilemma of selling and selling.
