According to Vietnam's economic times November 18th, Vietnam footwear association (LEFASO) predicts that Vietnam's footwear exports will reach $660 million in the last two months of this year, plus $3 billion 750 million for footwear exports in the first 10 months, and $4 billion 400 million for footwear exports in 2008.

Reported that despite the impact of the global economic crisis, Vietnam's exports encountered difficulties, but Vietnam's exports to Australia, Holland, Russia, Spain, Brazil, Argentina and other countries in the last few months before the end of the year still maintained a relatively high growth momentum compared with last year (Vietnam's footwear exports in 2007 less than 4 billion U.S. dollars).
