Thailand'S Textile Exports To Japan Increased By 36 Percentage Points Year-On-Year
Statistics show that from January to October 2008, Thailand's textile exports to Japan reached 230 million US dollars, up 36.3% year on year.
According to the comprehensive foreign news report on December 30, Thailand Textile Research Institute said that Thailand has benefited a lot since signing the Thailand Japan Economic Partnership Agreement (JTEPA). From January to October 2008, Thailand's textile exports to Japan reached 230 million US dollars, up 36.3% year on year.
According to the above agreement, Japan assisted Thailand in developing the textile industry and sent technicians to Thailand to assist in the research and development of bleaching and dyeing industry and produce distinctive fabrics.
At present, Japan is the fourth largest export market of Thai textiles, second only to ASEAN, the United States and the European Union. ?
