Under The Crisis, Bangladesh Decided To Restart Two State-Owned Silk Factories.

The government of Bangladesh has decided in principle to reactivate two state-owned silk factories that have been closed for seven years, which belong to the management enterprises under the BSB.

The two factories were closed in 2002 because of poor management and the heavy losses of factories caused by trade union actions, and the government could not afford to lose factories.

BSB belongs to the Department of textile jute, and the task is to promote the development of the whole silk sericulture industry.
