Japanese Imperial Fiber Launched ECO-A-WEAR Products To Reduce Pollution

Through ECO-A-WEAR, the emperor launched the world's first environmentally-friendly polyester and wool blended fabric. This eco-friendly fabric is produced from recycled plastic bottles and blended wool. This fabric looks elegant, soft and even wrinkle resistant. Other ECO-A-WEAR products include viscose and cotton blended fabrics, or 100% fully recycled polyester fabrics.
The production process of ECO-A-WEAR fabric is more environmentally friendly, because the production process is not entirely dependent on oil. Recycled polyester fibers come from collected waste plastic bottles, processed into thin sheets and regenerated into pellets, which are made into polyester staple fibers. These fibers can be woven or knitted into high-grade fabrics.
Some garments made of ECO-A-WEAR fabrics can be washed in the washing machine to reduce dry cleaning requirements. Most dry cleaners use four vinyl chloride (PERC), which is a pparent colorless liquid which is not conducive to environmental protection. Some ECO-A-WEAR products no longer need dry cleaning.
