ISO Standard For Bromine Flame Retardant Testing In Textiles
< p > mid June 2014, ISO released "textile flame retardant testing - the first part: brominated flame retardants" (ISO/DIS 17881-1), which is now in the stage of registration. < /p >
< p > brominated flame retardants are widely used in plastics, textiles, electronic equipment, adhesives, sealants and other products because of their characteristics of retarding flame combustion. They are commonly used as flame retardants and thermal insulation materials. However, due to the toxicity and certain teratogenicity and carcinogenicity of brominated flame retardants, since the earliest ban on certain brominated flame retardants in Sweden, the standard diffusion effect has been formed in various states and European Union countries, followed by laws and regulations to prohibit or prohibit the use of certain classes of brominated flame retardants. Canada also issued a ban on polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) in 2008. < /p >
< p > at present, the international standards for the detection of brominated flame retardants are relatively few. The joint meeting will be carried out through four sections, namely, market research, procurement of large purchasers, distribution of new fabrics and docking of supply and demand. It aims to build a docking platform for suppliers and purchasers of chemical filament fabrics. Through effective supply and demand information spanmission, the collaborative innovation of clothing and fabrics will be promoted, and the value of industrial chain can be deeply explored. In addition, the conference will also invite people in the industry to give a speech on the theme of "effective combination of fabric R & D design and downstream product design". < /p >
