State Council: Trying To Eliminate Tariffs On Commodities In The US And Canada
The Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council on Trial Implementation Announcement on the elimination of tariff goods in the US and Canada Notice of Tax Committee [2019] 2
In accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the Customs Law of the People's Republic of China, the People's Republic of China foreign trade law and the People's Republic of China import and export tariff Ordinance, the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council has decided to carry out the work of excluding tariffs and commodities in the US and Canada. According to the application of the relevant stakeholders in China, we will exclude some eligible commodities from the scope of tariffs imposed by the United States and Canada, and take the exclusion measures such as temporarily imposing tariffs, returning the tax refund duty and so on.
The pilot scheme for the US and Canada to exclude customs goods is attached to the annex.
