Uzbekistan Creates Great Potential For The Cotton Industry.

The fourth central Asian international textile machinery and technology exhibition, Uzexpocenter is being held in Uzbekistan.

The focus of Uzbekistan is to promote domestic cotton processing industry and expand the demand for the latest technology in textile production.

The organizer of this year's exhibition is Uzbekistan ITE, with 17 countries and 130 companies participating in the fair.

Compared with last year, the display area of CAITME 2008 expanded by 1.6 times, exhibitors increased 1.4 times.

Business people are interested in the display of goods, technology and latest equipment.

Uzbekistan is one of the main participating countries in the world's cotton market. It is the fifth largest cotton producing country in the world. The export scale of cotton ranks second in the world, but its cotton processing industry is also developing rapidly.

At the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Shamsiddin Sultanov, President of Uzbekengilsanoat national securities company, said: "the arrival of advanced technology and the latest equipment should help Uzbekistan get great potential, increase its efficiency potential, develop into a big country, expand textile exports with high added value, while maintaining the priority of textile industry development.

Uzbekistan attracted $more than 1 billion in direct foreign investment, mainly to the spinning industry.

The production of Uzbekengilsanoat SSC members was mainly cotton fiber processing, and the number expanded from 152 in 1995 to 3 in 2007.

It is predicted that the domestic processing capacity of the textile industry will reach 750 thousand tons of cotton by 2012.

In 2012, 79 projects will be implemented, with an investment of US $614 million 600 thousand, creating 3.62 jobs.

After the implementation of these projects, the processing capacity of cotton fiber will be increased to 510 thousand tons in 2012, the output of cotton yarn will be extended to 407 thousand and 100 tons, the fabric output will be 315 million 560 thousand square meters, and the fabric unit will be 275 million 600 thousand.

According to the government's decision, enterprises with zero tariff arrangements can import production and processing equipment, spare parts and other products, excluding payment of customs clearance fees.

Therefore, the popularity of this exhibition is very strong, especially for foreign machine dealers.

European companies constitute more than half of the exhibitors. They are very active in the exhibition.

Active exhibitors include German and Italy manufacturers.

Many Western European manufacturers believe that today Uzbekistan is becoming a major potential market for textile production equipment (spinning, weaving, dyeing and finishing).

The demand for finishing equipment is the largest, followed by spinning and knitting equipment.

Because of the initiative to strengthen business ties with Uzbekistan textile enterprises, China's large textile enterprises have decided to set up a national industry benchmark.

It includes the most equal solution for Uzbekistan.

Another novelty is silk production equipment, including winding and winding equipment, which first appeared at the exhibition.

Such a comprehensive industrial machine is unveiled at the exhibition to provide an opportunity for the Uzbek market to recognize many new products.

Exhibitors believe that the textile industry will attract a lot of investment, and the textile industry will be able to focus on promoting modern development.

Conversely, the comprehensive national policy of Uzbekistan's cotton processing industry allows the textile industry to be regarded as a tool to promote the overall economic development of the country.
