The report predicts that the consumption of biotech textiles will probably be around 100 billion rupees during the eleventh five plan, because the demand for freeway, runway and rural road construction is expanding.

Protective textiles are mainly used for fireproof fabrics, used in hotels, multi commercial streets, and national defense.

Technical textiles have great potential in India.

India and foreign investors' investments in areas of high return, high potential and high demand helped India create great potential for the technology textile industry.

India enjoys its position in the global technology textiles market and will become a net exporter next year.
