The Turkey Government Provides Export Free Loans To Exporters To Expand Exports.
Turkey's minister of industry and Commerce recently revealed that domestic exporters will soon be able to enjoy the country's new package of support measures, including interest free loans, similar to the preferential policies offered to SMEs by the state.
The loan application will be submitted from September 15th. Once approved, the first instalments will be paid six months after obtaining the loan. The total amount paid to small and medium-sized exporters is US $650 million. Through this channel, exporters are expected to increase export volume by 5-7 times.
The minister said the aim was to expand Turkey's export target. In addition, the funds provided to exporters will also help Turkey increase its share in foreign export markets. The government hopes that exporters will seize this opportunity to enhance their position in the international market.
