It is reported that the scale of cotton yarn in Anyang is more than 1 million spindles, which is the largest cotton textile production base in Henan province.

The towel quilt industry has developed rapidly to become one of Anyang's textile pillars, and the annual production capacity of the towels is 250 million.

At the same time, knitted underwear has also become the leading product of the clothing industry. Its annual production capacity reaches 350 million, and its output value is 5 billion 200 million yuan.

In December 2007, Anyang was awarded the title of "China's famous knitted garment city" by the China Textile Industry Association.

However, the knitting and finishing part of textile industry chain in Anyang is very weak, and is still in the primary stage.

The dyeing and finishing enterprises in Anyang are small in scale, old and backward in equipment, scattered and messy, waste water can not be effectively controlled and treated, and the surrounding environment is seriously affected. The product structure of these enterprises is dominated by low-grade products, which seriously restricts the industrial upgrading and structural adjustment of the city's textile industry, and hinders the sustainable development of Anyang's textile industry.

In the key tasks of the "11th Five-Year" textile industry development in Henan Province, we pointed out that we should break through the bottleneck of printing and dyeing and form a complete regional industrial chain, and clearly put forward the support of Anyang to build a modern large-scale dyeing and finishing enterprise.

It is understood that through the construction of Anyang dyeing and finishing Industrial Park, we can effectively monitor the exhaust and sewage discharge of dyeing and finishing enterprises, and take effective measures to help enterprises to discharge their waste gas and sewage to the national uniform standard.

At the same time, the park can encourage enterprises to adopt clean and efficient new processes and technologies, use new materials and new equipment, improve energy efficiency, and adopt low waste and no waste technology to ensure that the amount of waste gas and wastewater generated from the source can be reduced, so as to achieve the environmental protection effect.
