Nigeria Attaches Great Importance To China'S Counterfeit Textiles
The Nigeria Manufacturers Association (MAN) and the Nigeria Textile Manufacturers Association (NTMA) have asked the administration to pay great attention to the issue of counterfeit products in China.
This has become the primary topic of the forum recently organized by the Nigeria textile and tailor workers' Union and the Frederic Elbert foundation.
These organizations claim that products made in China are labeled "made in Nigeria" to mislead consumers.
These counterfeit products, especially textiles and clothing, have a negative impact on local industry in the local market paradigm.
The representatives of the Nigeria Manufacturers Association and the Nigeria Textile Manufacturers Association declared that imported products should be strictly controlled because many Chinese goods were smuggled into the country, especially through land smuggling.
