巴斯夫：9月中旬巴斯夫全資收購(gòu)汽巴；巴斯夫10月16日宣布，一個(gè)新的聚四氫呋喃(巴斯夫以PolyTHF為其品牌)應(yīng)用實(shí)驗(yàn)室在上海成立；10月28日巴斯夫又宣布，收購(gòu)比利時(shí)瑞克塞爾（Recticel）公司部分聚氨酯業(yè)務(wù)。

陶氏：10月19日，羅門哈斯股東投票決定正式批準(zhǔn)陶氏的并購(gòu)；11月13日有報(bào)道稱，沙特王國(guó)-陶氏化學(xué)公司下屬的業(yè)務(wù)部件陶氏技術(shù)許可和SABIC工業(yè)公司（SABIC）的合資企業(yè)沙特歐洲石油化學(xué)（IBNZAHR）宣布啟用世界上最大的聚丙烯（PP）工廠。

拜耳：10月7日相關(guān)報(bào)道指出，拜耳公司(BayerAG，BAYRY)和康寧公司(CorningInc.，GLW)計(jì)劃擴(kuò)大在臺(tái)灣的投資規(guī)模；10月17日，拜耳材料科技于拜耳上海一體化基地正式啟動(dòng)年產(chǎn)能35萬(wàn)噸的MDI生產(chǎn)工廠；11月10日拜耳宣布，其位于中國(guó)廣州的聚氨酯系統(tǒng)工廠正式投入運(yùn)營(yíng)。
