After mentioning the name of Wenzhou, it is natural to think of the "Wenzhou model" and the vigorous private economy. As the economic center under the jurisdiction of Wenzhou, the private economy in Ruian also has the characteristics of early development, large quantity, large scale and strong strength. It is a golden card of Ruian.
Ruian people have the habit of doing business since ancient times. For a long time, due to the shortage of people, the shortage of arable land and the large surplus of labor force, the state investment in Wenzhou is only 1/7 of the national average level, resulting in a weak industrial base in the city. People living in Ruian have always had the habit of leaving home for business. Before the cultural revolution, Ma Yu's "glasses Lang" and Shen Cheng's "sugar traders" had been spread all over the province and inside, and at that time, they could only engage in covert activities, but were also constrained and suppressed by various policies.
In the third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee 1978, we made a strategic decision to shift the focus of our work to socialist modernization. Subsequently, the spring breeze of reform and opening across the whole country has injected infinite impetus to the development of Ruian's private economy. After thirty years of entrepreneurship and development, Ruian's industrial structure has become more and more abundant, forming ten pillar industries, such as machinery, food, hardware tools, industrial automation equipment, rope weaving, plastic products, fine chemicals, shoes and leather garments, arts and crafts, automobile and motorcycle accessories.
In September 25, 2001, Ruian won the first national gold card of "China's leisure shoes production base"; in October 9, 2002, it won the national gold card of "China plastic film production base"; in October 9, 2003, it was awarded the "national automobile and motorcycle capital" brand name card in China; in December 24, 2003, it was awarded the fourth "Guo Men's famous brand city" gold card in China; in November 18, 2004, it was awarded the fifth "national famous brand of rubber shoes" in China.
The growth of industrial bases shows that Ruian's private enterprises are vigorous and vigorous. Ruian's private enterprises are just like a train on the fast lane. Ruian private enterprises entering the fast lane are planning to launch new sprint such as listing and rebuilding group. At the same time, technological investment and R & D also showed a trend of leaping development.
In 2008, Ruian's private enterprises invested more and increased their product innovation. The combined group has a stronger momentum. According to the survey at the beginning of the year, there are 11 listed companies in the city, namely, Zhejiang Huafeng import and Export Trading Co., Ltd., Ruili Group Co., Ltd., China Europe Automotive Electric Appliance Co., Ltd., cloud top holding group Co., Ltd., Zhejiang global filter Co., Ltd., Rui bid Group Co., Ltd., Wenzhou new Australia Beer Co., Ltd. and Ruian City spider king Shoes Co., Ltd. Ruian's brand building has made outstanding achievements.
According to statistics in May 2008, Ruian has 22 well-known trademarks in the whole country, 28 famous trademarks in Zhejiang, 34 famous trademarks in Wenzhou, 128 famous trademarks in Ruian, and 18 well-known trade names in Zhejiang.
The registered capital of private enterprises is increasing faster. In May 2008, the registered capital of private enterprises in the city was more than 10 million yuan, and there were 325. There were no 41 regional groups, 134 Zhejiang brands and 53 Wenzhou cards. Correspondingly, the scale and strength of production are greatly improved. At present, the city's output value exceeds 100 billion yuan to reach 53 private enterprises.
