Tianjin Cotton Market Price Rises
Learned from the Tianjin Cotton Industry Association, since February this year, the domestic market cotton and polyester staple fiber and other cotton purchase prices began to rise, and cotton imports decreased compared with the same period, textile exports dropped significantly.
Affected by the purchasing and storage drive and the replenishment of textile enterprises after the Spring Festival, the price of cotton purchase and sale in the domestic market continued to rise.
In February, the average purchase price of seed cotton in the mainland was 2.44 yuan / kg, up 2% from the previous month, and the average price of the standard grade cotton to the factory was 11207 yuan / ton, up 2.5% from the previous month. At the same time, the import volume of the cotton market was reduced, and the export of textiles dropped sharply.
