The Industry Chain Can Not Match The Pearl River Delta Macao Textile Manufacturers "Difficult To Pfer"

The Industry Chain Can Not Keep Up With The Macao Textile Manufacturers In The Pearl River Delta.

According to the Macao Daily reported that the PRD costs continue to rise, in order to encourage the pfer of industries to the central and western regions, the central government launched a series of preferential policies.

However, some Macao manufacturers have pointed out that moving northward or moving westward to the central and western regions will not necessarily solve the problem. Moreover, the manufacturing industry chain is relatively long, and there must be a complete set of supporting facilities to enable the industry to move northward, otherwise it will only increase other costs such as logistics.

The mainland has encouraged the manufacturing sector to shift to the central and western regions, including various preferential and convenient measures such as water, electricity and administrative registration. However, some Macao manufacturers have said that there are not many Australian factories pferred from the Pearl River Delta to the central and western regions. Instead, many manufacturers consider pferring to Southeast Asia, but it does not mean that the cost of Southeast Asia is much lower.

Manufacturers pointed out that the manufacturing industry has a long industrial chain. Taking textile as an example, yarn manufacturing, dyeing and finishing, weaving to market sales are interlinked. Therefore, once migration is necessary, the whole industry chain must be pferred, and there must be a complete set of supporting facilities, such as environmental protection requirements, water and electricity supply, etc.

Manufacturers said that although the central and western regions offer water and electricity concessions, whether the entire power grid can match production is another problem.

Another example is human resources cooperation. He said that most of the technical labor force in the central and western regions has been pferred to the coastal areas. Although there are sufficient human resources, they are more "green hands" and fail to cooperate with development.

And whether logistics is enough or not should be considered, otherwise the freight cost will be increased.

As for Southeast Asian countries, manufacturers point out that Asian currencies, like the mainland, continue to appreciate.

He said that the US economy is facing a recession, and that the orders of Australian manufacturers are decreasing. In the face of rising costs, they can not pass the gains to consumers.

Therefore, manufacturers can only optimize internal staffing and efficiency, try to stabilize cost and reduce pressure.
